Each sentence has a specific task in a crisis.

Crisis communication not a PR exercise. Participants will prepare a message for staff, parents, media, etc IZS and they immediately test it in a model situation.

01

The structure of the crisis message

5W framework (Who, What, When, Where, Why), principle of primary communication within 15 minutes, second within 60 minutes. Templates for different types of incidents.

02

Communicating with staff in a crisis

How to structure assignments for the corps during an incident. Briefing before the event, debrief after. Post-incident support for educators with PTSD.

03

Communication with parents

Quick first information (within 15 min), follow-up information every 30-60 min, final summary. SMS/e-mail channels, social networks, telephone hotline.

04

Communication with the media

Press conference vs written statement, who speaks, what is said and what is not. Protection of sensitive data of pupils and staff. Reviewing messages before release.

05

Communication with IZS

Structured message to 158, transfer to operations officer, transfer to intervention partner role. What the police and HZS need to know in the different phases of the intervention.

06

Model situation with extras

Safe but realistic model: incident → communication with staff → with parents → with media → with IZS. A structured debrief after each round.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the training intended for?

For school management (principal, representatives), members of the crisis staff, spokesperson (if the school has one), reception and security. In the institution, typically 5-15 people for training.

What will the school receive after the training?

A set of crisis templates (written statement for different types of incidents, SMS for parents, briefing for the choir), crisis communication checklist for a 24-hour horizon, certificate of completion. For conducting a 30-minute follow-up consultation on implementation.

How is it different from PR / communication coaching?

Standard PR coaching teaches communication in normal operation. Crisis communication is something else — under pressure, with incomplete information, with emotional burden, with risks for children. The lecturers have real experience from the URNA and SOG operatives, where every communication took place under pressure.

What does it cost?

Standard 49,000 CZK for a one-day training for a group of up to 15 people. Tailor-made pricing for a multi-day program with subsequent model situations.
