First aid in a crisis: the first 5 minutes before the ambulance arrives
Crisis preparedness that you can use at work and at home. The course is based on military tactical medicine TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care). You will learn to stop massive bleeding, open an airway and manage shock. It is led by lecturers with experience from foreign missions.

What you will learn
Massive bleeding (MARCH)
A tourniquet, pressure dressing and wound tamponade. Procedures from foreign missions adapted for civilian environments.
Obstructed airways
Stabilized position, airway cover maneuver, use of nasopharyngeal tube. Recognition of pneumothorax.
Shock and patient stabilization
Recognizing signs of shock, ensuring thermal comfort, positioning. How to keep the injured person conscious until the emergency services arrive.
Mass Incident Triage
Who gets help first. START/jumpSTART principle, coordination with IZS, injury documentation for the hospital.
Resuscitation of adults and children
CPR, AED use, drowning procedure and tracheal valve. We will explain the procedure for children, you practically practice on adult mannequins.
Psychological first aid
What to say to an injured or witness in shock and how to say it. Crisis communication for rescuers: instead of heroism, calmness and a clear procedure.
Training day up close
Training footage: massive bleeding, transfer of the injured, resuscitation and a model situation.

A first aid course is useful wherever you are responsible for people and where emergency services they won't arrive right away. You won't get a medical qualification, but a calm procedure for the first 5 minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Is the course also suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. You do not need a medical education. We teach what anyone should do in the first 5 minutes before EMS arrives. The instructor builds skills gradually, from the very basics.
What is TCCC and why do you use it?
Tactical Combat Casualty Care is the standard of military tactical medicine that originated in the US Army for the care of combat casualties. In recent years, his principles of MARCH (Massive Hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Hypothermia) have also been adopted by civilian rescuers. We teach a simplified version for a civilian environment.
Will we get a certificate?
Yes. Upon completion of the course, each participant receives a certificate of completion. For companies and schools, the course is recognized as the health part of regular OSH training.
Do we practice on mannequins or on ourselves?
You practice resuscitation and airways on professional adult mannequins. You try the chokes, bandages and positioning with each other in pairs. We do not use artificial blood or other effects, the training is realistic and safe.
