Why a central founder program

The building of a public institution representing the founders of schools

Founder's view

Practical output

One overview translates the different needs of schools into joint decision-making.

Founder it needs a comparable picture of the crisis preparedness of all schools, defensible priorities and a plan financing, which can be explained to the city council and the directors.

01

Risk map across all schools

The same methodology for all participating schools will allow comparing inputs, documentation, staff readiness and crisis procedures. The founder will thus distinguish urgent measures from steps that can wait.

02

Basis for the council of the city or region

The summary document separates common problems from the needs of individual schools. It contains the order of recommendations, follow-ups and indicative cost categories for further decisions.

03

Compliance with MŠMT 2024 and ČSN 73 4400

The assessment works with the Minimum Standard of Safety in Regional Education (No. MSMT-19322/2024-4) and with the relevant parts of ČSN 73 4400. The output will show where the school fulfills the requirements and where the next step is needed.

04

Budget divided into stages

We divide the recommendations into organizational changes, training, technical measures and construction interventions. The founder can build realistic stages according to budget and urgency.

05

Documentable selection of a specialist supplier

GBH Academy is an accredited educational institution of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic (AK/I-48/2025, protection of soft targets). The offer and deliverables accurately describe the scope of the work, the materials used and the responsibility of the individual parties.

06

Performance control after the agreed period

After implementing the priorities, it is possible to verify which measures have been implemented and where the risk remains open. The updated overview will help plan the next budget period.

Program in 6 steps

The procedure is readable for the Department of Education, the Council and the Director. Each step has a clear input, a responsible party, and a forwarded output.

  1. 01

    Introductory interview with the founder

We will go over the number and type of schools, known incidents, measures to date, expected output and time frame with the responsible worker.

  2. 02

    First wave audit (5 schools)

The first group of schools will undergo an assessment of the building, documentation, operation and staff readiness. The visit is followed by a brief summary with the director.

  3. 03

    Other schools and summary evaluation

We will assess other schools using the same methodology. We continuously consolidate the findings so that the conclusion enables comparison of the entire portfolio.

  4. 04

Report for the city council and implementation plan

A summary document for the council contains the main findings, order of recommendations, anticipated stages and cost categories. Individual schools will receive their own part of the output.

  5. 05

    Workshop for directors

Directors will go over responsibilities, priorities and how to implement recommendations together. The aim is to unify expectations between schools and the founder.

  6. 06

    Control visit

After an agreed period, the implemented measures can be verified, changes in operation added and the map of open risks updated.

What a school audit looks like, shot by shot

We check the entrances and the perimeter, go through the documentation and conduct a workshop for the director. Each school creates a risk map in the same structure for the city council.

Frequently asked questions

What does the founder get after auditing multiple schools?

Summary report for advice, comparative risk map, sequence of recommendations and proposal of stages. At the same time, each participating school will receive its own section with specific findings for the building, documentation and staff.

How long does the program last?

The schedule depends on the number and size of schools, the availability of leadership, and the depth of assessment required. In the offer, we divide the visits into waves and indicate the date of the continuous and summary output.

How is the multi-school price determined?

The calculation is based on the number of objects, their size, location, scope of documentation and subsequent workshops. The offer separates the price of individual schools from the joint report for the founders.

Can the outputs be used when preparing a budget or subsidy?

Yes. We will divide the recommendations according to the type of measure and orientation difficulty. However, for a specific subsidy, the founder or project administrator must verify the current conditions and the eligibility of expenses.

What does a workshop for directors look like?

Principals will review common findings, role responsibilities, and sequence of steps. Subsequently, they work with their own part of the output and specify the link to the founder.
