Audits for schools

School safety audit according to ČSN 73 4400 and MŠMT 2024

Weaknesses, priorities, measure. Physical security, cameras, documentation, GDPR and NÚKIB in one output.

School safety audit according to ČSN 73 4400 and MŠMT 2024 — GBH Academy

The management must see the weak spot before the attacker sees it

An audit is not a style report. We review inputs, routes, classes, documentation and people's reactions.

Output: weaknesses, priorities and steps for directors and founders.

Object, not just documents.

Risks by impact.

Output for decision.

Audited by former members of URNA and SOG. References: Czech Radio, National Theatre, ombudsman, AV CR.

Context: Minimum standard MŠMT 2024, standard ČSN 73 4400 a audit of soft targets according to MV ČR.

An audit must end with a decision, not a PDF document in a drawer

A regular security agency will often sell the service. We first show the management exactly where the risk arises, what has the biggest impact and what makes sense to pay first.

The audit connects the object, people, documentation and crisis mode. The output is built so that the director, mayor, board and operations manager can work with it.

Frequently asked questions

What does the school security audit check?

The audit assesses eight areas according to Minimum Standard MŠMT 2024 and Standard ČSN 73 4400: entry control and perimeter, escape routes and evacuation, lockdown and internal zones, crisis communication, School Card (Appendix No. 11), staff preparation, pupil education and documentation status. The aim is to reveal weak points and propose conceptual measures.

How much does a school security audit cost?

Online consultation for directors and founders starts at CZK 3,900, a one-day on-site inspection from CZK 15,000 and a comprehensive audit according to MŠMT 2024 and ČSN 73 4400 from CZK 49,000. The exact price is determined individually according to the size and type of object.

Is a school security audit mandatory?

The audit itself is not a statutory obligation. But the minimum school security standard MŠMT 2024 expects schools and founders to carry out a risk assessment, crisis documentation and an annual review — and an audit is the fastest way to demonstrate compliance and get a basis for negotiations with the founder.

How long does the audit take?

The entrance audit of a regular primary school takes 1-2 days on site plus 5-10 working days for processing. The director typically receives the output within two weeks of the visit.

What do we get as an output at the end?

Written audit (15-30 pages) with prioritized recommendations divided into acute, short-term and conceptual. It includes a cost estimate, a proposed schedule and — for a comprehensive audit — a proposal for a camera system and EMS with a budget.

Who performs the audit?

Auditors GBH Academy are former members of URNA Police of the Czech Republic, SOG of the Army of the Czech Republic and the 601st Special Forces Group with experience from foreign missions. GBH is an accredited educational institution (MV ČR accreditation) and has audited Czech Radio, the National Theatre, the Public Defender of Rights and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

Can we use the audit when dealing with the founder?

Yes — the document is structured in such a way that it serves as a basis for the municipality / region. It refers to MŠMT 2024 and ČSN 73 4400 so it has the weight of a methodologically recognized standard.

Does it follow up on the training audit?

We recommend. The audit identifies what needs to be completed; follow-up training and model situations will translate the recommendations into real readiness of staff and pupils.

What next

An audit will find weaknesses. Training and model situations will remove them

After the audit, we follow up with teacher training, model situations and age-appropriate education of pupils — everything depends MŠMT 2024 and in accordance with accreditation MV ČR.
