Audits

Security audit of school, institutions and soft targets

We reveal weak points, determine priorities and propose measure. Dle ČSN 73 4400, MŠMT 2024, methodology MV ČR and follow-up NÚKIB/NIS2.

Instructor GBH Academy when explaining the security audit

An audit must end with a decision, not a PDF document in a drawer

A regular security agency will often sell the service. We first show the management exactly where the risk arises, what has the biggest impact and what makes sense to pay first.

The audit connects the object, people, documentation and crisis mode. The output is built so that the director, mayor, board and operations manager can work with it.

What is a security audit?

Control of access to the building during a security audit
On-site audit Until the decision

From a weak point to a plan

This is not a file check. It's a map of what to do first.

Security audit finds a weak point in the facility, documentation, people and procedures. For schools, it is based on ČSN 73 4400 a MŠMT 2024, for other soft targets from the MV ČR methodology.

Output: priorities, measure, cost estimate. Follow-up training will translate recommendations into practice.

Object

Entrances, zones and perimeter

We will go through places where a person really comes, waits, moves and disappears from sight.

Documentation

Plans, records and roles

We check that the documents tell specific people what to do in the first few minutes.

People

Personnel and decision-making

We will verify who recognizes the problem, who initiates the process, and who communicates with the originator or IZS.

Procedures

Priority action

The output ranks steps by impact, cost and speed of implementation. Not by what looks fancy.

What you should know

Findings must end in action

The audit is only the first part. Value is created when people know what to do.

GBH methodology

We connect Czech standards with real operational experience. Therefore, the output does not end with general recommendations, but with priorities, the role of the team and follow-up training.

  1. 01

    SOG / URNA operational practice

The audit is not led by a theoretician, but by a former commander of special forces with real experience from Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo and Syria.

  2. 02

    Compliance with Czech standards

MŠMT 2024 (ref. MSMT-19322/2024-4), ČSN 73 4400 and methodology MV ČR "Fundamentals of soft target protection". Document usable for negotiations with authorities and founders.

  3. 03

    Continuity of training

An audit will find weaknesses, follow-up training and model situations will remove them. Accredited educational institution at MV ČR.

Frequently asked questions

What is a security audit?

A security audit is a systematic threat assessment that reveals weaknesses and suggests specific measures in four areas — perimeter and entrances, crisis documentation, people and procedures. For schools and soft targets, it is carried out according to ČSN 73 4400, the Minimum Standard MŠMT 2024 and the methodology MV ČR "Fundamentals of the protection of soft targets". The output is a structured document usable for negotiations with the founder.

Who is the school security audit intended for?

For school directors and founders (municipalities and cities) who need to document compliance with the Minimum Standard MŠMT 2024 and ČSN 73 4400. Furthermore, for authorities, social services, medical facilities, cultural institutions and companies falling under the MV ČR methodology for the protection of soft targets.

What is a soft target audit?

The audit of soft targets is a comprehensive analysis of the threat of publicly accessible places with a high concentration of people — schools, hospitals, theaters, stadiums, offices and social services — according to the methodology MV ČR for the protection of soft targets. It assesses the likelihood and impact of an attack and proposes proportionate protective measures.

How much does a security audit cost and how long does it take?

The price depends on the scope and size of the object — from an initial online consultation to a one-day inspection to a comprehensive audit. A comprehensive audit involves 1-2 days on-site and 5-10 working days for processing; you will typically receive the written output within two weeks. We determine the specific range and price individually.

Is a school security audit mandatory?

The minimum school safety standard MŠMT 2024 introduces uniform rules, the fulfillment of which schools and founders demonstrate. An audit is not a self-imposed obligation, but is the fastest way to demonstrate compliance with MŠMT 2024 and ČSN 73 4400 and to obtain a basis for security investments.

What makes GBH Academy different from others?

The audits are conducted by former members of the URNA Police of the Czech Republic, the SOG of the Czech Army and the 601st Special Forces Group with experience from foreign missions — operational practice, not theory. GBH Academy is an accredited educational institution at MV ČR. References: Czech Radio, National Theatre, Public Defender of Rights and Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
