How the audit takes place

Input analysis
We will review safety documentation, emergency plans, evacuation order and internal regulations. We are talking to management and the person responsible for security.

Assessment of the object
We will check the perimeter, entrances, reception, visitor zones and evacuation routes on site. We follow the ČSN 73 4400 and MV ČR methodology for soft targets.

People and crisis communication
We talk to frontline employees (reception, security, filing). We will try de-escalation and coordination with IZS on a model situation.

Output for management
You will receive a structured audit with recommendations according to priority (acute, short-term, conceptual), a cost estimate and a follow-up training plan.

What is an Institutional Security Audit?
A security audit of an institution is an independent assessment of the facility, documentation and personnel of an office or public institution. It will show how the institution is prepared for a crisis situation and where it has weak points in entry control, evacuation and crisis communication. It will propose conceptual measures in accordance with the ČSN 73 4400 standard and the MV ČR methodology for the protection of soft targets.
Who is the audit intended for?
For state and local government offices, public media, courts, offices (including the ombudsman), theaters, museums, libraries and scientific workplaces. They are in the public eye and are therefore typical soft targets.
Who performs the audit?
Auditors GBH Academy are former members of the URNA Police of the Czech Republic, the SOG of the Military Police and the 601st Special Forces Group with experience from foreign missions. GBH Academy is an educational institution with MV ČR accreditation (AK/I-48/2025) and a division of the Gaudete Brüder Holding group.
How long does the audit take?
The on-site inspection of the facility usually takes 1-2 days, depending on the size of the institution. Processing will take an additional 5-10 business days. We will usually send you the consultation date and scope proposal within a week of the request.
How much does a security audit cost?
We determine the price according to the scope, number of objects and depth of assessment. After the initial consultation, you will receive a scope proposal and a price indication. A non-binding request to bezpecnost@gbhdefence.cz is free.
Is a security audit mandatory?
There is no blanket statutory audit obligation for authorities. However, the protection of soft targets and compliance with the ČSN 73 4400 standard is recommended by the MV ČR methodology. In addition, the Minimum Safety Standard MŠMT 2024 applies to school facilities. The audit provides the management and the founder with a basis for decisions on safety measures.
What is the audit output?
A structured written document with recommendations divided into acute, short-term and conceptual measures, with cost estimates and a proposed schedule. You will use it as a basis for negotiations with the founder.
Does the audit follow up staff training?
Yes, we recommend it. An audit will find weak points. Follow-up training of the first line, training in communication with the media and IZS and model situations will then prepare employees for a crisis situation. GBH Academy has MV ČR accreditation for the protection of soft targets.
