A security audit of an institution is an independent assessment of the facility, documentation and staff readiness of an office or public institution. It will reveal weaknesses in entry control, evacuation and crisis communication and propose conceptual measures in accordance with the ČSN 73 4400 standard and the MV ČR methodology for the protection of soft targets.
For state and local government offices, public media, courts, offices (including the ombudsman), theatres, museums, libraries and scientific workplaces — i.e. institutions with high public visibility, which are typical soft targets.
Auditors GBH Academy are former members of URNA Police of the Czech Republic, SOG of the Army of the Czech Republic and the 601st Special Forces Group with experience from foreign missions. GBH is an accredited educational institution (accreditation MV ČR), a division of the Gaudete Brüder Holding group.
The site inspection usually takes 1-2 days depending on the size of the institution, followed by 5-10 working days for processing. You will usually receive a consultation appointment and scope proposal within one week of the request.

There is no blanket statutory audit obligation for authorities, but soft target protection and ČSN 73 4400 compliance are recommended by the MV ČR methodology. In addition, the Minimum Safety Standard MŠMT 2024 applies to school facilities. The audit is therefore a commonly required basis for founders at public institutions.
A structured written document with prioritized recommendations divided into acute, short-term and conceptual measures, a cost estimate and a proposed schedule. The document can be used as a basis for negotiations with the founder.
Yes, we recommend it. The audit identifies weaknesses; follow-up training of the first line, crisis communication with the media as well as IZS and model situations will translate recommendations into real readiness of employees — all within the framework of MV ČR accreditation.
