It is a full-day practical self-defense course for the public (5.5 hours) that teaches how to respond to an active attacker (active shooter). It is based on the methodology of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic for the protection of soft targets and is led by former members of the URNA Police of the Czech Republic, SOG and the 601st Special Forces Group.
For individuals and the general public with no previous experience — both men and women (approximately 40% of participants are women), including people over 45. It is also suitable for teachers, health workers or office workers who want to be personally prepared for threats. We offer separate accredited Active Attacker training for entire teaching staffs and institutions.
The course combines a concise theoretical framework with practical exercises and guided model situations in a real environment. It progresses from threat recognition and de-escalation through escape tactics to improvised defense and procedure upon arrival of the Police of the Czech Republic. The emphasis is on correct decisions, communication and coordination, not on physical fitness.
The course lasts 5.5 hours (usually from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and costs CZK 2,990 excluding VAT per person. The price includes full-day training with an instructor, a manual, additional instructional videos and a certificate of completion.
It is not mandatory for the public and individuals — it is voluntary. Obligations apply to institutions: minimum school security standard MŠMT 2024, methodology MV ČR for the protection of soft targets and standard ČSN 73 4400 require regular staff training for soft targets.
