Is your organization ready for cyber threats? Practical course for companies and institutions

Both employees and students work with a large amount of data: internal documents, personal data, login information and normal work communication. As the volume of data grows, so does the number of threats. In addition to classic e-mail scams, this includes phishing via SMS and phone, malicious attachments in documents, ransomware, misuse of weak passwords or careless sharing of sensitive information online.

No one is completely immune to cyber threats. Everyone who works with data or communicates with colleagues in the organization has access to information, the misuse of which can affect the operation of the entire institution. Therefore, all employees, regardless of position and technical knowledge, need to know the basics of cyber security.

In addition, cyber security training is required by legislation. The obligation of regular training follows from the Act on Cyber ​​Security and related decrees, which emphasize the preparedness of employees and management. The GBH Academy course covers common cyber threats while fulfilling the obligation of regular training.

What will you encounter in the course and what will you take away?

The training is based on situations that organizations normally encounter. Participants will learn how to manage passwords and use multi-factor authentication, basic steps that significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized access. A large part of the program consists of phishing in e-mails, SMS messages, phone calls and targeted attacks.

We will also practically test the resilience of your team. Before the training, we send practice scam emails to employees and evaluate how many people clicked on the link and how many reported the email. After training, we will repeat the test to see how the result has changed.

For malicious attachments and ransomware, participants will learn to recognize the threat and respond appropriately when an incident occurs. Time is decisive: what to do in the first minutes to keep the damage as small as possible and prevent the attack from spreading further through the organization.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly penetrating everyday work. The training will therefore set clear rules on how to use it safely. It also deals with deepfake technologies, which can be used to abuse the identity of executives or colleagues.

After the course, you will receive materials for daily operation. In addition to a certificate of completion, you will receive a cyber threat management guide and a checklist to help you make quick decisions in the event of an attack. Your team will leave with a plan, assigned roles, and recommendations on how to further strengthen security.

Lecturers with experience from real incidents

The training is conducted by experts from large technology companies and former members of the intelligence services. They have experience in defense against commercial and industrial espionage, eavesdropping and monitoring of electronic communications. Their qualification is evidenced by the certification of the National Office for Cyber ​​and Information Security (NÚKIB) and the accredited certification body TAYLLORCOX. The training takes place face-to-face in the range of 5×45 minutes. We adapt the content and pace to your organization and level of participants.
