Is your organization ready for cyber threats? Practical course for companies and institutions
Cyber security It is no longer just a question of the IT department. It concerns daily work with e-mails, documents, etc sensitive data across the entire organization. But what happens when an employee clicks on a fraudulent link? Or when you login details Will they fall into the wrong hands? Most cyber incidents are not caused by a technical breach, but by the error of an untrained human.
Cyber security
The weakest point of the system is usually an unprepared user.
Today, every employee and student works with a large amount of data in practice, whether it is internal documents, personal data, access information or normal work communication. At the same time, the number of threats to which it can be exposed also increases. This is not just classic e-mail fraud, but also phishing via SMS or phone, malicious attachments in documents, ransomware attacks, misuse of weak passwords or careless sharing of sensitive information in the online environment.
In today's world, no one is completely immune to cyber threats. Every user who works with data or communicates within the organization has access to information, the misuse of which can have an impact on the operation of the entire institution. That is why the basic principles of cyber security do not apply only to IT specialists, but to all employees, regardless of position or level of technical knowledge.
At the same time, this is an area that is directly anchored in legislative and normative requirements. The obligation of regular training follows from the Act on Cyber Security and related decrees, which emphasize the preparedness of employees and management of organizations. GBH Academy thus offers training that covers the entire spectrum of common cyber threats and at the same time fulfills the obligation of regular training.
What will you encounter in the course and what will you take away?
The training is based on real situations that organizations and institutions normally encounter. For example, participants deal with password management and multi-factor authentication. That is, the basic steps that significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized access. A large part of the program is focused on phishing, not only in the form of e-mails, but also in SMS messages, phone calls or targeted attacks.
We will also practically test your cyber resistance. Before the actual training, we will send practice scam emails to your team, from which we will evaluate how many people clicked on it and how many reported it. After training, we will repeat this test so that you can see a measurable improvement.
Another area is malicious attachments and ransomware, where not only the detection of the threat itself, but also the initial response at the moment the incident occurs is addressed. The emphasis is on time, i.e. what to do in the first few minutes to minimize damage and prevent further spread of the attack within the organization.
Artificial intelligence is also taking up more and more space in practice, which is quickly becoming a common part of work processes. The training therefore sets clear rules for its safe use. At the same time, it also deals with the risk of deepfake technologies, when the identity of executives or colleagues can be misused.
The output is not only the training itself, but also concrete materials that can be used in everyday operation. In addition to a certificate of completion, you will also receive a cyber threat management guide and a handy checklist of points to quickly support decision-making in the event of an attack. Your team will leave the course with a clear plan, divided roles, but also with tips on how to further strengthen security.
Experts with real field experience
The training is conducted by experts from large technology companies and former members of the intelligence services, that is, people who know how to counter commercial and industrial espionage attacks, wiretapping or monitoring of electronic communications. Their qualification is evidenced by the certifications of the National Office for Cyber and Information Security (NÚKIB) and the accredited certification body TAYLLORCOX. The training takes place face-to-face in the range of 5 x 45 minutes, while the content and pace can be adapted to the specific needs of the organization and the level of the participants.
GBH Academy is an accredited educational institution of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, and its services have already been used by more than a thousand organizations across sectors, from companies, schools and social services to large cultural institutions.
